LangChain Interrupt Conference at the Midway SF

With the surge in first time AI conferences comes many production challenges. However with some planning, great clients, and great partners we can create some really exiting and unique events.

LangChain chose the Midway SF for their first conference. With a short production lead time from the first email to load in, chosing the right venue partner is key. The Midway is a great starting point for design and logistics. With their built in stage and existing AV & Lighting infrastructure we are able to easily scale up what is already existing to meet the needs of the show.

Of the show requirements were a broadcast level livestream and full HD LED walls. We provided three large Infiled db2.3 led walls which had a great impact in person and looked great on the multii camera livestream. With the existing lighting at the Midway we were able to complement the look and feel in the room with some theatrical lighting.

One of the challenges was the tight timing for load in. With a morning install and afternoon rehearsals, we needed to have a well choreographed load in. We fully pre prepped the event at our warehouse prior to load in, so all of the tech positions were built on rolling tech tables with cable looms connecting them together. This allowed us to be ready for rehearsals in just hours.

Run of show and content prep calls made for less head scratching onsite and making good use of the time allowed.

This is what it is about. The pieces come together, you have a great crew, event planner, venue, and client. It makes for an impactful show that we are proud to be a part of.
