Case study 1 - Employee All hands

An all hands meeting for a growing AI company needed a simple and elegant delivery of their CEOs keynote. The full day event featured product demonstrations, remote presenters, remote attendees and panel discussions. We deployed a minimalist approach to Audio Visual that aligned with the client’s core focus of sustainability. 

Brief

  • AI Startup

  • Gateway Pavillion, San Francisco

  • Attendance: 250 employees

Production Challenges

  • Low Ceilings, floor to ceiling windows and skylights eliminated projection as an option and LED walls were not in the budget.

  • A concrete floor and floor to ceiling windows can make delivering clean audio very tricky. 

  • Align with the clients core value, sustainability

AV Solution

  • Several large TV displays for the set and delay monitors helped deliver visual content to all seats in the house.

  • Multiple sets of speakers placed around the seating area. All audio points were discretely wired to allow for custom tuning for each seating area to eliminate echoes.

  • Offset lighting from the ceiling to eliminate any site line obstructions for the attendees

Results and Takeaways

  • Client was exceptionally happy with how the remote presenters were able to seamlessly deliver their presentations to the in room audience.

  • Flawless technical execution provided a distraction free experience for the attendees.


Case Study 2 - Product Unveiling

An tech startup needed an advanced and polished technical team for a high stakes public unveiling of an AI agent. The CEO needed to demonstrate their AI agent by having a conversation with it live on stage via multiple iPhones without any feedback. Perfect execution was required as the startup was seeking funding from potential investors in attendance.

  • Product Unveiling and User Conference

  • Attendance: 200 attendees. Open to Public

Production Challenges

  • Floor to ceiling windows eliminated projection as an option and televisions felt too small. LED was the best option

  • Hard flat surfaces in the space made clear audio a challenge. 

  • Advanced audio routing needed to patch presenter microphones into 3 separate mobile devices on stage running AI agents in the cloud. 

AV Solution

  • Deployed a simple and elegant LED display that made content legible for attendees seated all the way back in a long, narrow seating configuration. 

  • Main and several delayed sets of speakers placed around the seating area. Each point was individually wired to allow for custom tuning for each seating area to eliminate echoes.

  • Managed IO for 3 iPhones on stage to allow for easy conversation with multiple AI agents. AI agents were able to speak to each other.

  • Seamless and feedback free demonstration of the clients product of their cloud based AI agent.

  • Crisp and clean audio delivered through the space. 


Case Study 3 - Mid Size User Conference

A user conference with 1000 in person attendees required a full day livestream to deliver content from multiple rooms to attendees watching around the world. The two day event featured general sessions on both days, 3 breakout tracks, a large exposition area and two separate patios with DJs and entertainment.

  • Upscale Conference

  • The Midway, San Francisco

  • Attendance: 1000 people in person. Several thousand online. Open to Public

Production Challenges

  • Execute a seamless broadcast of the entire event, drawing audio and video feeds from multiple rooms around the venue including live shots from a mobile camera walking through the exposition hall.

  • Deliver a wow moment with a 72’ LED wall with convex and concave curves. 

AV Solution

  • Deployed 5 LED walls throughout the space for unparalleled viewing from all angles in each room.

  • Provided power and displays for individual vendor booths in the Expo area. 

  • Livestreaming of the event included a main host from a ‘news room’ style desk, presentations from the main stage and a roving camera capturing live interviews with conference attendees. 

Results and Takeaways

  • Delivered the wow moment with a massive LED wall and content that utilized the entire 8800x1152 canvas. 

  • Smaller Breakout Rooms and the Expo area didn’t feel like an after thought as each room had rock solid AV experiences and LED totem way-finding signage.
